Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Gameday: Pens vs. Bears.




Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at Hershey Bears

Game Time: 5:00 pm

Last Game: The Penguins won their second in a row with a 4-1 crunching of Syracuse.  Eric Tangradi led the way with 2 goals, rookie Beau Bennett scored his first professional goal and Riley Holzapfel added a goal. Goaltender Jeff Zatkoff made 34 saves to record the win.

* Forward Zac Sill is out 5-6 weeks with an upper body injury.
* Forwards Jayson Megna  and Keven Veilleux and defenseman Robert Bortuzzo are still injured.
* According to Penguins beat writer Jonathan Bombulie  forward Eric Tangradi moved into a tie with Martin Sonnenberg for 10th place on the team’s all-time goal scoring list with 54.
* Eric Tangradi (4 goals) , Paul Thompson ( 2 goals, 2 assists) , Beau Bennett (1 goal, 3 assists) and Benn Ferriero ( 4 assists) are all tied for the team lead in points with 4.
* Penguins record: 2-4-0-0
