There was a Crosby update...right?

Penguins GM Ray Shero addressed the media regarding an update on Sidney Crosby on Monday after a Twitter post from a guy named Josh Rimer.

The post said something about three of his sources confirming Crosby won't be ready by the start of the season because of his concussion symptoms reoccurring. Shero did not dispute Crosby has had lingering symptoms, but has not shut down training and preparing for the season as if he'll be ready to go at camp.

Shero told the media, "We're going to have to wait and see what the next month brings. There is really nothing new."

I agree.

We need to hear from Crosby. Only he knows how he feels day to day as he's training at home. As long as Crosby continues to work without symptoms sticking around so long he can't workout I'd say that's good news. News in fact that hasn't changed since the Stanley Cup playoffs. We knew he was pushing hard, and still is.

The truth will come out when Crosby returns for training camp. Then we can all either celebrate or start to worry.
