New Season, New Face

With the start of a new season comes a new face to PensUniverse.

Hello everyone my name is Joe and I'm glad to be a part of the PensU team for the upcoming 2011-12 season and hopefully many years to come.

I've been following the Pens since I was in 4th grade way back in '94 and enjoyed following them throughout the years trying to chase that 3rd cup. In '97 I moved from the 'burgh to sunny south Florida and remained loyal to my hometown team. (Yes even through the bad times of the early 2000's.)

If I had to pick one shining moment in my Penguins filled life I would have to say the 2011 Winter Classic. It was my first legit "road trip" and I made the 1,800 mile drive in 16 straight hours. It was one fun weekend that's for sure! I even converted a Flyers fan!!
