Big game tonight, Letang skates

First things first... THIS.

Boom. This would be Kris Letang's first time reported on skates since he played last. Similar to Crosby's concussion, who really knows how long it will be before he gets back to full contact practice, let alone dress for a game. This is very encouraging news for the Penguins.

As for the Rangers game tonight, the Pens really need a divisional win. Pens are only 5-4-0 against Atlantic Division teams, and they play two in the next two nights (NYR and the Devils on Saturday.) The Pens sit 8 points out of 1st place in the Atlantic, and are just two games above .500 against all Eastern Conference teams. Baffling.

Also, AHL All-Star and forwards Colin McDonald was called up from WB/S. Steve Sullivan who was ill and missed practice yesterday is back at practice today. No Michalek however.

UPDATE: HCDB says Michalek will be a game-time decision tonight.

Game time is 7:00 p.m. and can been seen on NHL Network. Go Pens.
