Finally...

After almost three full months of zero Penguins hockey, we all got our wish. Finally, a season. Shortened albeit, but hey, a season. And while the season has been restored, we can't necessarily say the same thing about the league itself. Raging emotions toward the owners and the commish' have been the topic of conversation since October. Though I've heard on a couple local sports radio shows that in the final hours the aforementioned commissioner was the one who made the concession and agreed to the deal. So Bettman deserves a little credit...a little.

So with very little chatter from your group at PensU, we promise to gear up with some more content for your reading/listening/viewing pleasure. That's right, some more blogs containing amature analysis; social media action; a weekly podcast with special guests; and maybe even a wallpaper or two to celebrate your favorite players (like the one below).

One I'm personally happy about is actually getting a real chance to use my Samsung Galaxy Note II to cover/watch the Pens. I promise I won't bombard you with too much smartphone business (though the RAZR HD giveaway was fun). But I have to unapologetically state for the record that this particular phone is pure gold. The NHL app should bode quite useful on this 5.5" screen. But enough on that.

Gear up, get ready, buckle your seat belts, because it's gonna be a fast ride from now through [hopefully] June. Ending with what we and every other hockey fan wants, another Stanley Cup.

with a wireless device and five months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the
product.
