Should TK be on the Second Line?

By Nicole Tracey

The Pens training camp started this past Saturday and Sunday was their first on the ice. No real changes were seen except for Tyler Kennedy playing alongside Evgeni Malkin and Ruslan Fedotenko. With Max Talbot out of the line-up for a month or so, a spot on the second line is open. Tyler Kennedy is known for being a part of the infamous “Sesame Street line” along with Jordan Staal and Matt Cooke. The third line was very clutch during the finals month of the season as well as the playoffs. At times it seemed the third line was working the hardest. Though Tyler Kennedy deserves a chance to play alongside Geno, why fix something that isn’t broken? Pascal Dupuis, Craig Adams are just some of the other candidates that could possible fill Max’s spot even Eric Tangradi could have shot. Tangradi looked real good on the ice last night for the Pens first pre-season game. He was all over the ice - throwing checks and getting on loose pucks.

So unless I’m getting too far ahead of myself, what do you as Pens fan think?

Should Tyler Kennedy get a chance even if it is only for a month or two?

If not Kennedy, what player would like to see with Geno and Tenk?

If Tangradi can keep up what he did last night, perhaps Kunitz could fit well on Geno's line.

give it to tk. he is a similar player to max "bad hands" and dont rush tangradi. thats my opinion, but tangradi is doing his best to make me feel like an idiot for wanting him to season his game in the minors. guess i cant say who should line up with geno until more of the preseason is done.
