Things to keep in mind heading into the season opener:

1. 23-man roster must be submitted to the NHL office by 5:00 p.m. ET. Pens yesterday cut their roster down to 23. Can't foresee any changes. Also can't see the roster looking the same at the end of the season.
2. Keep an eye on Marc-Andre Fleury. He needs to get off to a good start tomorrow and get his season feng shui rolling. Big divisional test to start the campaign off.
3. Will the blue line hold? It gets pretty young after Letang, Orpik and Niskanen.
4. Will the Tangradi-Malkin-Neal line work? Will it?
